Entrance ticket as pdf

Dear Hika team,

I purchased Hikaserial a while ago and now I'm ready to sell entrance tickets online.
But I find the learning curve of Hikaserial very steep.

I want the customer to be able to download a pdf with an image of the entrance card and his own unique code on it.

When the event takes place, there is a list at the entrance with the corresponding codes of the pdf entrance ticket.

At least, that's how I thought I could do it, but it turns out to be different?

So you have attach serial and pdf serial.

Which one should I use and can you please point me to the right documentation?

Hello,

"Attach Serial" creates an image (mostly PNG).
"PDF Serial" creates a PDF.

The two plugins have globally the same configuration; one takes a PNG as "template" (an image used as the base and the plugin "print" information on it); the other creates a PDF file (and can also use another PDF as "template").

So you can read the "attach serial" documentation page and you will have the general process for both:

Now, it looks like you want to generate a PDF, so "PDF Serial" is the one to choose.
The starting point is to know if you will use an existing PDF as "template" or you want to start with a blank A4 page and "print" information on it.
