Drag and Drop und Upload

Hello support Team.

The Drag and Drop does not work.

It opens just the draged picture in browser.

Uploading does not work in the frontend.
It uploads but does not show the pic.

Same for file uploads.

What can i do?

Hi,

Do you have some javascript errors in your page ?
The upload with drag & drop is initialized by a javascript script which would set some drop zones and would display the thumbnail after the upload.
If there is some javascript error, it is highly possible that the drop zone is not initialized and that the script which display the thumbnail after the upload is not called.

I have made some test with Firefox 18 in my local website and in the demo website and the drag & drop zone works correctly.

Hi,

With a link to your store it would be easier for me to tell you (and make some tests).
In Firefox, you can open the error console in web development menu or by using the shortcut: Ctrl+Alt+J
The "Error" tab would give you the errors in the page, just clean it before opening the product editing page in order to see if there is a javascript error.
