Vendor Product Edit/New Product Categories Actual Drop Down

Hi,

I feel it may be confusing how the default category tree is for a vendor making new or editing listing. I am wondering how I can make the category an instant drop down listing.

Hello,

There is a thread which is talking about a similar request :

Afterwards, if you want to have an HTML list instead of the namebox system ; it would require more customization in your view.
They are still some HikaShop type which could propose an HTML dropdown to display categories but they are all moving to the namebox system (specially because HTML dropdown do not fully provide multiple selection)
But the above thread will, at least, allow you to have one single category for the selection.
