-- HikaShop version -- : 4.2.3
-- HikaMarket version -- : 3.0.3
-- Joomla version -- : last
-- PHP version -- : 7.2
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : firefox and other

After Update HikaShop 4.2.3

When the vendors create new product (front end) make SAVE
see this error:

Error
A product with the same code already exists

in my opinion, the problem is this:
Product code: the field is empty
usually in this field, there is the name of the product

Please check the settings "Prefix vendor product code" and "Avoid duplicate product code".

Since you do not have the product code, it is generated from the product name and you can create a duplication.

I had the same problem after the update. I applied the option "Avoid duplicate product code" and after it`s workded. But I think something is changed after this update.

Hello,

Yes, the issue is related to a modification in the HikaShop core which generate several unwanted side effects.
The next HikaShop release will fix that by returning to the way it was before.

Yes sure. after the update to the version 4.2.3 I have to specify the vendor in the payment method, probably because I have the option Limit vendors in cart set to One vendor

I update you about this request. I found the solution and the problems were related to the options Show only vendor payments and Shipping per vendor presente under Market Options - General Options
