-- HikaShop version -- : 4.3.0
-- HikaMarket version -- : 3.0.3
-- Joomla version -- : 3.9.18
-- PHP version -- : 7.2.30

Trying to set "Product limitation" to user group named "vendor".

We set "2" for our test, but there is no limitation at all! The user is able to list as many products as he wants.

Our testing user belongs to 3 user group categories.

Registered
Paid
Vendor

Even if we limited products for all three usergroups the vendor has no limitations.

Please advise...

Thank you in advance.

Hello,

Please details your scenario and configuration.
The product limitation is there to restrict the creation of products for the vendors ; I don't understand why you're talking about the user and a listing.

Wrong wording from us. I will try to explain again.

In details...

Vendor belongs to joomla user group "vendor"
He have set (in Hikamarket / Access / Vendor options) Product limitation to "vendor" user group hoping that users that belong to this group can create only 2 products.

This vendor who belongs to "vendor" joomla user group is still able to create more than 2 products.

This is the problem

Hello,

I was not able to reproduce the issue.

Product limitation set to "2" for the group "Author", limitation value save and configuration page saved too.

My test vendor is in several groups : pasteboard.co/J7q7i3p.png
When I try to create a new product, the product limitation check is done and refuse the display of the page

Error
The limitation of 2 products has been reached

Please note that the limitation is check only on "main" product, which do not include "variants" or products waiting for approval.
If you do are using the approval system, the vendor can submit multiple products for approval while he is still under the limit ; since the "waiting approval" products are not counted, you can have the feeling.

Thank you for your support... you are right.

Our test user was not assigned to the right group as shown in your screenshot. Actually he was not assigned to any group. When we assigned the user to the right group in HikaMarket / Vendors / [vendor username] / TAB ACL / GROUPS
the Product limitation worked!

So our problem was with the HikaMarket vendor group ACL.

Now the issue transfers to another part of our usecase...

Our test user was already assigned to "vendor" usergoup in Joomla!
Is the HikaMarket vendor group ACL completely seperated from joomla user groups?

Isn't there a way that...
when a user is assigned to a different user group in joomla, The HikaMarket user group is updated?

Thank you in advance.

Issue is resolved by enabling "Link vendor group with admin".

Thank you for your help.
