Restrict Warehouses and Characteristics by user

Hi,

I was just logged in as a different vendor on my site, and when I went to add a product, ALL the warehouses and ALL the characteristics were visible.

I only want vendors to be able to see THEIR OWN warehouses and their OWN characteristics.

How do I change this?

Hello,

Warehouses are not restricted for vendors ; so they wil be visible for every vendors.
It is by design since products and shipping methods are already related to vendors and the warehouses are dynamically duplicate in the checkout when you're using the "shipping per vendor".

Characteristics can have private values for vendors and can also be affected to vendors.
The best way to hide a characteristics for vendors is to assign it to the main vendor.
For the moment HikaMarket do not override the HikaShop backend view for characteristics, so you have to edit it from the main vendor front-end interface.

Thanks.

I can change the vendor assignment on the front end, but when I press the "back" button, instead of going to the dashboard, it goes to the home page? Not a big deal, but that will be frustrating for users.

How can I make sure that "back" from the vendor dashboard submenu items goes back to the main dashboard page?

Hi,

I just disabled the Route 66 seo plugin, and that seems to have solved some of the problem. Is this plugin not compatible with HikaShop?

Hello,

If that plugin do have settings to "disable" their behavior depending the component, it will avoid issues.
SH404Sef and some other popular SEF extension do have that kind of feature ; so we can suppose that your plugin might have the same features.
