Hi,

I want to have store pages that show the products of only one vendor. What menu option do I need to use, and how do I set it up that way?

Thanks!

Hello,

When you create an HikaShop product listing module, you will find a setting to "synchronize" the content.
By displaying the module on the vendor page (thanks to the setting "display modules under the vendor page" in the HikaMarket configuration), you will have your vendor's product listing.

You will find the details in our tutorial page :

Hi.

I don't have any Hikashop modules called "product." What is the name of the module I need to use for this?

Thanks.

Hi,

I had another thought about this. Here's what I want to do (possibly.)

1) Create a "master" category for each vendor.
2) Create sub categories for the products they sell.
3) Set up pages for each category the way I normally would.

The next questions though are this:

1) Is it possible to copy categories?
2) If I copy all the categories and products across, is there a way to do a "mass action" to assign a vendor to that category?

Would this type of setup work, and how do I go about it? Basically, each vendor is a branch of a company, and they each have mostly the same product, so I really just want to copy everything and assign it to a different vendor / branch.

Please advise.

Tamara

Hello,

To display products under the vendor product page, you have to display a product listing module like you can do for listing products with a category listing menu.
First, you have to create an HikaShop module, for your product listing. The important option is Synchronize with currently displayed item when possible.

If you want to have "vendors' categories"
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/1...nfig_market_category

1 - You can copy categories in the HikaShop backend but I don't have the feeling that it's the meaning of your question.
2 - Yes you can use a mass-action to set the "product_vendor_id" to all products targeted by your filters.

If you want to duplicate products when a new vendor is created, there is a plugin in HikaMarket for that.
But that plugin do not support the duplication of categories ; it duplicates only the products of one category into the new vendor root category.

Hi again,

I think I should start again with this

I have one user that has 13 branches. They want each branch to be their own "vendor."

I checked, and I can't add more than one vendor to a product, so I need a way to copy all categories and products therein, and assign them to a particular vendor or branch.

Everything will be the same for each of them, but there doesn't seem to be any way to copy categories, so not sure how to do this?

Each vendor / branch needs to be able to manage sales and inventory independently, and I need to be able to have each vendor / branch / location on their own product listing page.

How do I do this? Also, the duplicate option doesn't seem to be working. It only duplicates top level categories, not sub categories, which is not very helpful.

Thanks.

Hello,

1 - It's the HikaShop module.
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/3...splay-front-end.html
For more details, please contact the HikaShop support team.

2 - Yes, you need to use the HikaMarket plugin "duplicateproducts" :

If you want to duplicate products when a new vendor is created, there is a plugin in HikaMarket for that.
But that plugin do not support the duplication of categories ; it duplicates only the products of one category into the new vendor root category.
