The only thing that the plugin can have a control on, is the "Preferred charge mode".
But, once again, it's related to Stripe API.
I do understand your frustration and I'm a bit surprised that the Stripe Support team do not do their support job for their own services.
You know, something like "Hey, Stripe handle different type of charges that you can find here (
stripe.com/docs/connect/charges
), you should see if your plugin do handle it".
Because, it is the Stripe API which define the way than Stripe is handling fees. It's also the Stripe documentation which details how their system is working.
Clearly, if you have a request regarding an implementation of a feature provided by the Stripe API into the plugin ; for sure the best is to ask here.
I'm surprised that I, as a plugin developer, should point documentation page about how Stripe is working.
