Locking publication in parent category

Hello,
Is it possible to lock publishing in the parent category for sellers?

In my case, I have the parent category "Products" and then my subcategories.

When I go through the frontend as a seller and add a product, I see the parent category as the publishing option. I would like it not to be possible to choose this category but only the subcategories.

Because if a seller leaves this category, in his seller page, the products displayed with the modules also display this parent category.
