Coupon discounts not passed on to PayPal

Hi there,

first of all compliments for a great component.

I'm currently testing a first install on a Joomla 1.6.1 Site. Everything is working great exept for one thing.

We currently have one product in the shop priced at £ 15,85. For testing purposes I have created a discount coupon £ 14,85. When I apply the coupon code in the code on check-out it subtracts properly so that the final price shown is £ 00,10.

When I click next to go PayPal the amount shown there is the full £ 15,95 however. So the "final total" is not passed on to PayPal. Shipping costs, on the other hand, are properly passed on to PayPal.

Do you have any advice?

Hi,

The discount value is passed to paypal but paypal refuses to apply it to the order because the amount is over the untaxed total amount.
If you put a discount value of 11.85 for example, the discount will be applied in paypal.
That is a problem which lies in the way paypal apply discounts to the orders. The only solution would be to pass to paypal the full price of the order without the details of the order.

Changed the discount value as you suggested and voila it works.
