Hi, I'm getting this error message "No payment methods found" when using the currency switcher to display $CAN. This happens in Firefox and IE, not Safari. I read through your list of potential problems posted on another Forum thread. I did change the currency symbol, but I changed it back. Still doesn't work.

Thanks for your help.

In just tried you your website and I was able to see the payment method and enter my credit card number.
Then, at the end of the checkout, I got that error:
There was an error while processing your transaction: 270 (TESTMODE) Line item 1 is invalid.
It's probably because of the TM special characters in the name of your products which are not understood by your payment gateway.

We have Authorize.net set-up in test mode so our credit cards don't get charged, which is what I think is causing the message you saw. Payments are going through. The problem we are experiencing is with the currency switcher. When it is changed from US to CAN, the next screen displays a message that no payment method has been found. At this point, the user has not entered an address. Just based on the currency switcher changed to CAN, hika is not recognizing the authorize.net payment method.

Yes, that's normal. Authorize.net only accepts USD, and no other currency, so the payment plugin is not displayed in such case.

Thank you. That explains the problem. So now we are looking for a new payment solution that works in the US and Canada. I see you have several plugins.

Does anyone have experience with Moneybookers or have experience with another payment system that works with HIKA for US and Canada?

Cardsave, moneybookers and Alerterpay should meet your needs.
Only cardsave has the possibility to process your payments directly on your website like you were doing with authorize.

I don't think CardSave works with US merchant and have not been able to get them to respond to my request for information. Do you have any other options that would work for us? Perhaps we can use two separate plugins, Authorize.net for US and a second plugin for Canada. Do you have a plugin for Canada that behaves the same as the Authorize.net plugin (customers stay on our website for the entire transaction). How about your paypal plugin?

Yes, you could use the PayPal Pro plugin if you're ok with having two payment plugins as PayPal Pro do not handle more than one currency for the same merchant account.

Have you heard of Moneris? They believe that they will work with your plugin because MONERIS uses Authorize.net as the gateway, but Moneris processes the credit cards and they work with US and Canadian currency. Does your plugin require that authorize.net process the credit cards or just be the gateway?

I've never heard of Moneris so far.
If they say that the plugin can work with their solution they are probably right. Also, in the plugin's options, you can change the URL of the payment gateway to use another one.
However, the plugin only works with USD as authorize.net does not have any field to enter the currency. Which means that you would have at least a few lines of code to change in the plugin.

Can you help with the code changes. I can compensate you. Also, if Authorize.net doesn't have a way to read/receive currency specifications, would it matter if we change the plugin code to send it?

Well, we would first need to look at the documentation of Monetis to see what's possible and what's not. Could you ask them about that ?
