filter value on custom fields doesn't work

I need the filters for user to sort by the custom field values.

Two filter modules doesn't display the value as I set:

- filter by style, I selected "check box" and choose "style" (one of the custom field item),then put in values , see screen shot. But after I saved it and I click in again, the values disapear, and the values were not displayed on the front end as well.

- filter by width, I selected "cursor" and choose "width"(one of the custom field item),then put in the min.and max value, but same thing, it doesn't appear at the front end as well.
