Hika Styles and templates

Hi

Can some explain to me the difference between hika styles and joomla templates. If I use a hika style, does it mean it overrides stuff in my templates.

I think that you'll find your answer there :

Please understand that these styles are NOT joomla templates.
You won't get a page like that with the images at the top since that's something to be handled by your template.
What styles do is that they change the colors of the buttons/texts in HikaShop so that the can adapt to templates.
So for example, if you have a black based template, without the black HikaShop style, you might get some of the text non visible (black on a black ground). The black style we provide in the styles package will allow you to change the display style of the elements of HikaShop so that they fit better with a black based template.

You can change the styles with the corresponding option in the Display tab of the configuration of HikaShop.
