One Purchase Only

Is there a way in HikaShop to limit each user to only purchase an item in the shopping cart ONCE?
For example, we are selling registration to an event. We only want each user to purchase it ONE TIME.
How can I set this up?

Yes it's possible in HikaShop, you just have to set a limit.
In HikaShop > Products, click on "Limit" in the toolbar and create a new limit with the parameters wanted.

The limit can be applied on a product or on a category.

Is that per purchase or per customer? Basically, once they purchase it, I don't ever want them to purchase it again

It is per customer. You can too set a period of restriction...
