Add to Cart HTML link & required custom fields

We have set a custom field to a product category and use the "Add to card" HTML link in some of our Joomla pages.
The problem is, if a user clicks on the HTML link in a Joomla article, the item will be added to cart, but
the user will be able to purchase the product without writing into the required text field of the product.

Any idea, how to get it working?

Hi,

These links are just HTML links which add the product to the cart and redirect to the checkout.

If you want them to redirect somewhere else, you will have to change the links themselves.
You can do like that:
