i created a copy of the "show_default" with a new name, and saved it.

When i assign it to a product, as shown...

and save it, when i go to try to view it in the store, i get a "500 - Layout show_MAPdefault not found" message.

how do i correct this?

thanks

Can you check that you have the file templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_hikashop/product/show_MAPdefault.php and the file components/com_hikashop/views/product/tmpl/show_MAPdefault.php ? If not, please create them.

Hi,

Which version of HikaShop do you have ?
Did you create theses copy using the HikaShop backend ? (thanks to "Display > Views")

Maybe the files does not have the right file access. If the file is not readable for the server, it could generate such error.

Ok, could you try to create your new layout with only lowercase letters ? Maybe it comes from the case which is mixed up by joomla/your webserver.

That seems to have been the problem, i need to test a little more to be sure, but i think that was it.
