best way to create options

Is this the best method for creating a drop-down option list with different prices?

A new, unpublished category has been created.

Within that category, 3 versions of the same product have been created, each a different size and price.

A product has been added to a public category, and using the options field, the 3 versions added.

First time I'm using HikaShop (obviously).

What you can do is create one option product with variants, edit the price of each variants and then add this product as option in your main product.
By this way you will have only one dropdown with the 3 options (3 versions of the optionnal product)
