Will carousel show variants?

Before I upgrade from Essential to Business to get the Carousel/Slider, can you confirm that it will display my variants (their images and prices) and not the parent products?

To make it clearer, here is an example:
Main Product - Book 1 has 2 variants:

• Book 1 - Paperback (this is the default)
• Book 1 - Hardcover

Main Product - Book 2 has 2 variants:

• Book 2 - Paperback (this is the default)
• Book 2 - Hardcover

Using the above example, I want the carousel to show a total of 4 books for the variants only (and not 6). That is, it should exclude the main products.

Will it work the way I want?

By default, the carousel is like a product listing, it display only the main products.

But with some code editions, you may have a carousel displaying the variants.
It will require a good PHP level.
