Not on Sale anymore for out of stock item

Im sure this is a mis-configuration on my part but when I add a product that is out of stock to the wish list, the wish list says that the item is no longer sold.

Is there anyway for a customer to be notified when an out of stock item is back in stock?

Hi,

I'll let Xavier answer to you tomorrow regarding the "item no longer sold" issue with the wishlist as he is the specialist on the wishlist.

Regarding back in stock notifications, that can be done with the waitlist system in HikaShop. You can activate it in the Display tab of the configuration and that will add a "notify me" button on the product page of out of stock products which will then ask the name/email of the user.
You will also need to configure your cron task in the configuration as that is required for the waitlist plugin to check periodically the stock of the products in order to send the notifications when needed.

Hi,

You can change the translation of "Not on sale anymore" by what you need by overriding the translation in Configuration > Languages. (You can see in the FAQ how do that)
Or you can too edit the view "cart / showcart" in Display > Views to change the condition of displaying the text and add another one for "out of stock".
