"Order Status" set to "Cancelled" not "Confirmed"

After an order is placed by a customer and paid for through PayPal, if I look at the "Last 7 orders" screen or even open the invoice, both have the "Order Status" set to "Cancelled" instead of "Confirmed." How do I get HikaShop to say the order is "Confirmed" rather than "Cancelled"?

Here's how my PayPal plugin is set:

Hi,

Are you sure that the payment have been done ?
Because if your plugin is well set, the status must be confirmed.

OK, I have had several more orders come in and when a person places an order, but has not pay for it yet, the order status is correctly set to "Created". However, once they pay for the order through the paypal plugin, the order status is set to "Cancelled". What could I have set wrong? Where should I look for the problem?

Here is how I have some of the settings:

It's probably that the payment notification from paypal couldn't be validated.
Normally, in the payment notification email that you must have received at that moment, it should tell you the problem with a link to the documentation with more explanation about the issue.

The email from paypal did not give any indication of an error. Here is the email (but without the specifics):

I'm not talking about that email but the email that is sent by HikaShop when the payment notification is received. it is sent to the email address that you specify in the "payment notifications email address" option of the configuration.

Oh, sorry about that. I think this is the email you are looking for. It doesn't say anything about a problem though:

The order is now created.

This notification was for the order 03/17/2013--00088 on the website www.m2820.com/
You can access the order details directly by clicking on the link below after logging in your back end:

No, that is the order creation notification email that is sent when the order is created. I'm talking about the payment notification email that is sent when a payment notification is received from paypal.

OK, I found the right one: Here's what it says,

Hello,
A Paypal notification was refused because the amount received (250.20USD) is different from the order amount (250.11USD).

Since that email, I have turned off the paypal plugin option "send order details." If that was on, do you think that could be the problem?

Hi,

Yes that could be the problem, because Paypal don't round the price like us.
We round the final price, unlike paypal which round each product prices.

Hi, I'm having the same problem since I have had to add VAT, I have turned off the order to be sent to PayPal to see if that stops it.

Is it possible to set Hikashop to round each price instead of the total? I also have a rounding issue as I use Sage for accounting and it also rounds each product?

thanks

Hi,

Have you tried to disable the option "Send details of the order" in the PayPal plugin ?

Yes did that as previous, that has allowed the orders to now be confirmed.

What about the other part, is it possible for Hikashop to round each item instead of the total?

It was working like that before, but we had problems with taxes and discounts, the total amount were sometimes not corresponding to the price + taxes + discount.
