Media browser for image selection

The new media browser for products is a nice feature to allow image selection.
Are there plans to incorporate the same capability for Category images as well?

Hi Team,

I'm about to set-up 2 new eshop with Hikashop, and discovers the new functions of latest version.

So far so good, but I really need to change the media browser / image selector. For now the look & feel of current 'Add' or 'Choose' function for picture product is... prehistorical. For my customers in Joomla backend, I'm using the desktop like 'RemoteImage' or at least the JCE Image Manager. And I just can't ask them to use a different & old fashion one in Hikashop.

Many thanks to tell me how to change that, either a solution of yours, or a way to use 'Remote Image' or the default image selector selected in the Joomla admin....
