Image from url

Hello,

I would like to have the product image from a different server and not host it on the same domain.

Is it possible to load the product images from a different URL? for example ' cdn.domain.com/image.jpg '

If I fill in the image url in the database field of "file_path" from the table "_hikashop_file" it does not show up in the front-end.

Any ideas if this is possible?

Hello Plopje,

This is not yet possible possible in Hikashop.
We just added a way to select the images you want to display among your folders but you cannot choose images on another server.
The only solution would be to implement a plugin which can handle images on a different server because even if you change the filepath, the thumbnails won't be generated correctly.
