Filter Configuration

i want my listed products to have the option to be sorted by price, name, valoration etc... and that just selecting it the products sorts that way without a button to apply the filter. can it be done?

Hi,

Yes you can create a filter with the type single dropdown, then set the option "submit on click" to "yes" and use it as "sort" on "price" or "name".

But the buttom filter continues to be displayed should it be removed via css?
and i would like the client to choose how to sort by price or name or wahtever can it be done or just one option?

Hi there,

The filter can't be hidden because if you do so then it will be impossible for your client to delete the filter or change their selection.
About having every possibility in one dropdown it's not yet possible but it sounds great so I think we'll work on it.

Sorry for not getting it.
Well you don't need any code, just go in the configuration (system>configuration>features), click on the filter section and disable the "show filter button" option ;)
