Problem with product - saying not available

Hi
Someone just advised me that they can't put a product in the shopping cart. I have tried to replicate it, and it is a product with 3 variants. One of the variants (which they are choosing) is coming up saying that the product is not available.

Nothing has been changed at all in the products - haven't touched in a long time.

The main product and variants have been set to "unlimited" stock with minimum 1 per order.

Why would this product be saying it is not available?

hi Nicolas
If you go here: www.ecomad.com.au/shop-categories/produc.../category_pathway-26
And then just click add to cart you will get the message. Its the first option in the drop down list that is causing the error which you will see.

This has been working fine up until yesterday - nothing has been touched.

One person is clicking it and nothing is adding to the cart, but it does add to the cart when I do it but I do get the error message.

Huski

I had a similar problem - I am pretty sure that is just a warning message. If you refresh the screen the message goes away and the item is still listed in the cart. If you look at that 'small square (less then 350mm)' it does not have a price. I bet when you look at the price in the backend it is just 0. Change the price to 0.00 - then the message will go away. At least it did for me.

Perfect - that fixed it.

Maybe all costs should be defaulted.

Will need to go through a whole bunch of options now and change them.

It's probably because you have the option "Display add to cart button for free products" turned off and so the system doesn't like that you add a product with a free option. Turn that option off and it should help.
