New customer registration confirmation emails

Many of our new customers tell us they do not get a confirmation email when they register to complete a purchase on our website for the first time. Is there a way we can by-pass of disable the need for a registration confirmation email to be acknowledged before the customer can complete a purchase? Thanks you, Skip Souther

Hi,

Sure you can do it but that's a joomla setting, you'll be able to do that by :
- Going to "Control panel->Global configuration->system->'New User Account Activation'"
- Setting it to NONE
