list product of category already selected

If i load a page of a specific product category ; i know if an item have been already selected by have a look to the cart .
Does the page by default contain some code that let us know that the item is in the cart ?

No there is no such code. You would have to load the cart content and loop on the products in it to see if the products are already in it or not.
