Hi,

I installed JCE with the last version of Hikashop 2.2.2 Business.
The text is not saved when the fields are JCE fields.

Did someone already had this problem ?
Thanks for your help !

Hi,

Can you give us more information about the problem that you are having ? where exactly can't you save JCE fields ? are you facing any JavaScript error ? Can you check it and also :
- Active the joomla debug mode ("Administration->Global configuration->System->Debug System/Language")
- Set the "error reporting" option of the joomla configuration to "maximum"
- test it again so that we can see if it display an error message.

Hi Mohamed,

thanks for your quick answer.
I activated the debug mode and set the error reporting to maximum, no error message is displayed.
There is no error message in Firebug too.

I noticed that it happened only when there are more than one textarea running with JCE. (I have created some custom fields with WYSIWYG type)
The field variable is empty, JCE doesn't set the input value.

There is as many "Toggle editor" buttons as the total number of fields appearing per field.
See the picture below.

Does someone have an idea please ?

Hi,

I think you have 8 editors in the same page.
JCE does not handle the multi-editor. You can only have one editor per page.
So you have to use another editor or no use JCE for your product custom fields.

Yes I have 8 editors in the same page, but does Hikashop handle the multi editor when there are custom fields?
Because it's Hikashop that loads 8 times the init code isn't it ?

HikaShop has no problem loading several editors on the same page. The issue here is that JCE doesn't support that on its end.
If you use another editor, like tinymce, it will work (you can change the editor in the corresponding option of the HikaShop configuration.
