your demo is not very responsive. I can make the look of the site break on almost every page at almost every width.

We are currently updating this template as reported, it will be ready in next week. also would you provide some screenshot about the error you see? you can also send your screenshots using our contact form.

i have a look to your template .
Problem is still here the 19 01 2014 at http://demo.rcatheme.com/ !!
Test under firefox 26 and chrome 32.0.1700.76 on windows8 64 bit OS

In the capture screen the width value is not the real since , How browser manage width can differ beetween browser ( vertical scroll bar / box model ) !!! => the button overlap when browser width go < 1200

the li width in % unit is redefine using some techology when change browser width ( media query ?)
the button width in pixel unit or other selector beetween li and button is not redefine when change browser width !!


Here a capture screen of the problem for the people that read HKS forum !
i don't go to relative static / inline block study
the website use JCH optimize but not a problem to read code ....
span3 is use in the html page so it make me think of boostrap but don't know if a CSS framework have been use for this template/layout/view ?

1. For button overlay : whether you saw source code using firebug or default web developer tools, there you should see "btn btn-group" please refer to Twitter Bootstrap demo and docs to get a better idea about Bootstrap buttons getbootstrap.com

2. Responsiveness: Unfortunately i can't see the error you mentioned above, please check screenshot i have taken now. It should auto resize and fit with every standard screen/media size

I'm using Firefox latest version (today's latest version), and also tried with Firefox v22

We added JCH optimizer plugins that let our buyer know that our template compatible with this plugin and can boost their site loading time using this awesome plugin.

It's Gantry framework based template and Twitter Bootstrap Inbuilt.

Could a forum user confirm by a capture screen that button overlap ?
1 go to http://demo.rcatheme.com/
2 resize you browser width to half and see button overlap !!
3 use capture screen button ( go to cache )
4 open PAINT.net and Ctl V for paste content from the cache

Here another capture that show buttons from inside li go outside the li box
So when many li are in the same row , thegroup of 2 buttons overlap each others !!
Do you see the problem ?
One way ( in css there is many way) to resolve this is to go to some custom compass script if you go to nested/nested way but gantry seem to use LESS preprocessor ! . the last less version seem to support more and more functionnalities so it must be possible to ( I don't test with less, only compass)

Yes please check using a real device with different media size. Such as if you see the mobile menu by resizing Firefox browser window it's looking opened, and then check it live on your real mobile device.

Another reason if it happens: We gzipped, compressed and cached our code using Joomla Default and JCH optimizer plugin, so Bootstrap media query code will may not work with Firebug or Web developer tools.

Also for a better idea, Please kindly check gantry forum, Gantry complies less code, we should make it enable and off every compressed plugin during development period.

Our demo site is in live and not compatible with any development purpose.

If anyone confirm with a real device about the error 'lionel75' saying then we can start work to fix it immediately.

bootstrap is the way where web goes

3 about problem
i study MANY commerce layout website ( after work on zen garden a LOT , going to e-commerce commercial website is the best free ressource even psd ui kit theme are not available) and I never discover such behaviour like rca !!!
How developper tool can change the behaviour content of a web page (strucutre behaviour dynamic) ? Have you got a link that explain this ? ( RTFM)

As i said this live demo site isn't compatible anyway with Developer tools, you screenshot still in developer tools.

O go to the same site and see all the theme is working but the look and feel is not the same ( se ecapture screen)
here some behaviour
1 mouse of photo item launch the zoom effect with view overlay overlay link
2 mouse hover gold star can be set to red
3 mouse hover add to cart item icon show the text "add to cart" in the right side of the icon
4 mouse hover add to whilist icon show the text "add to whilist " in the right side of the icon
5 when width change it seem there is smooth aligment effect transition of the box
6 the number of file is 35 js and 20 css ( speed tips recommand max 4 css 7 js )

As always the boostrap.css file can be optimize since it is only after customize the template that user should go to the optimiee step .
for one file page ( default) 11.58 Kb -> 2.03 Kb
for 5 differents HKS files ( in xmap not test )
Does hikashop team know how many differents file ( Extension CMPL ) that contain bootstrap selector can be call by default without customize hikashop page layout in the client side ? refert o this post ithin k it is 13 (12 hikashop and 1 hikaserial ) but need confirmation !!
