guys, i would suggest you start working on broader perspective and general hikashop Interoperability.

starting from here joomla-templates.joomlart.com/purity_iii/index.php/compatible

i already did, they say that you need to contact them.....i would advise you to hop on the new Purity 3 template bandwagon, because it is free, and this template became instant BIG hit....Hikashop will get enormous boost in popularity with it.....

purity is bundle with joomla so dezip and install is fast and it is compatible with mijoshop
mijoshop web demo site use yoo_sync a warp framework and mijoshop use selector name like :.box-product price .rating .cart
I search for all the css file in purity bundle ( joomla + purity template) , there is many in com_mijoshop.css ( default and rtl and theme ) .
So the default mijoshop css ( stylesheet.css) work with the mijoshop.css form purity .
So it really to joomlaart to write a hikashop.css file not HKS .
com_mijoshop.css is
-- 40 definition of selector
-- 2 with !important
-- 82 css properties ( many about size box , only 2 about color grey , grey light , and 2 use !important )

There is no change beetween the com_mijoshop.css in default red and orange directory theme !!!! ( copy paste !)
the css file bundle with a template is only premade css file , you ll have to custom/add some properties/ values .
i don't test if the selector in com_mijoshop.css are override selector or new selector ( to do list ) .
have you got a web site to test that use this com_mijoshop.css ?
I think it is not to much work with a good css knowledge and after studies what joomlart have done with mijoshop !!
