User Creation in hikashop starter failing

Hi forum,
First of let me say this is a great forum and has plenty of great information.

Im having an issue with user registration in hikashop. User create is giving no errors and flashes a blank page back to the registration form. I have tested user registration within joomla directly and this functions perfectly. Allows create, confirm, log in.

I have checked the registration in hikashop -> config -> checkout
I have tried with and without the HikaShop joomla user account link plugin
i have tried with and without the Redirect Joomla registration to HikaShop Plugin
I have checked under joomla -> global config -> user manager (this functions fine)

all the results are the same. Go to register via hikashop and you get redirected to the same page with no errors and no registration

Hi there,

Could you enable joomla's Debug System and set error reporting to max in your backend (in system>global configuration) then test it again ?
You should get a message which will help us to solve this

when i check the logs its showing empty?

i have checked the template however there is no option to set error display. I am using the AS template.

Thanks to check in the index.php file, the where the code is generally placed, if you see the code "<jdoc:include type="message" />".
If not, thanks to add it at the desired position and that will displa the Joomla system messages.

have done. Still no different.

error log still empty. No other action or response

The returned errors seems to be related on the code you added, this code must NOT be between PHP tags.

I have now managed to stop the above mentioned errors however im back to the same issue at hand. Just getting the same issue. User create is giving no errors and flashes a blank page back to the registration form.

i have added no manual coding and this is the 2nd time ive had this issue with the same cart however different templates however i can not remember how i resolved the issue last time.

any options as i need to confirm this works before i upgrade otherwise i will need to look at alternative shopping carts which is not what i want to do
