Hi. I added a module to show the latest products but i get some issue about the data to display. For example i want display only the image and the title but the module shows also the custom fields of the product, like author and so on....
If i change the layout of the module (for example slider horizontal instead of image and title) i see the layout very bad.
Please see the attachments to understand better.

Hi again,

Please edit your custom field and check your settings under "Display"... especially the one named "Front-end Listing". Looks like it's "Yes" now, but you want it to be "No".

If i set that field as NO i don't see the custom field in products listing too on front end. Only when i go to the product details i see that. There isn't any any way to don't show only in that module?

For both menu items and modules it's the same views generating the products in listings, so the display config for custom fields affects both.

That's the default. Of course, you have a number of options for getting what you want:
1. Use CSS to hide the custom fields section in modules.
2. Or edit and customize the view you're using and add a check if it's a module.
3. Or create a copy of the view with your own name, and delete the custom field section from it - then in your listings under "Layout type" select one for menu items, and the other for modules.

Guess #1 is the simplest...

In any case, and as usual, the documentation helps: www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/1...ize-the-display.html ;)

Hello,

First thing to do, go to Components => HikaShop => Configuration, on Display dropdown and select Custom fields.
Use your Filter dropdown to find Product Custom Field, and edit it.
Find in Display part, your Front-end Listing option, ans switch on "No".

In your Item Menu or your Module, in HikaShop options tab look for your Product data display part.
You can switch to "No" Unwanted data.

Hope this will help you.

Regards
