Errors on Waitlist...

-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Apache/2.2.24

In regards to our Wait List, during testing we noticed the following errors:

1) Our customers are not receiving the email notification when they sign up for a wait list.
2) When a product quantity is updated, the customers that signed up for the wait list are not getting the automatic notification.
3) Where can we manage the subscribers for the wait list, so that when a customer who is not signed in signs up we can see their email and communicate with them if need be.

That is a lot of information to review. Is there a simpler answer to my questions?

1) How can our customers receive the email notification when they sign up for a waitlist?
2) When a product quantity is updated, how can customers who signed up for that waitlist get the automatic notification?

Hi,

I think Jerome posted the wrong text and that his message wasn't meant for you but someone else's thread. Sorry for that.

1. There is no such feature. It would require some coding if you want to have that capability.

2. Make sure that the waitlist plugin is activated and that you configured your cron task:
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/5...ashop-cron-task.html
It should then be automatic.

3. Under the menu Customers>Waitlist, in the backend of HikaShop, you'll find such listing.

Thank you for this information. Was really helpful! For #2 When I click on "Create/Edit your Cros task" to make sure my Cros is activated properly its prompting me to renew my subscription. Must I have a registration to access such just to view it?

It appears correct on the surface though, see attachment.

Hi,

Your next run time is indicating September 2009 ?
It is the default date stored in the database ; so I'm afraid that the cron-task is not running and as never been triggered.

Thank you! It works now!!!!!

Customers are now able to get notification once a product has been updated.
