I'm using the great HikaShop almost every day. Its fantastic. however, every time i come to my orders page i wonder why this filtering section is that messed up
Why dont you use filtering like joomla's article ?

I'm not sure what you mean ?
Most of the filters on the Joomla articles listing page don't make sense for orders. Shop owners need other filters to search their orders, so it's normal they are not the same filters, no ?
Or are you talking about something else ? Like the style ? We try to match with the style of the Joomla filters. Sure, the filters on the orders listing are on two rows in order to allow for more filters, but besides this, it's quite similar.
