-- url of the page with the problem -- : walliser-weine.ch/shop
-- HikaShop version -- : 2.4
-- HikaMarket version -- : 1.4.2
-- Joomla version -- : 3.3.3
-- PHP version -- : 5.4
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : all

Discounts for vendors are not properly calculated or i am doing something wrong.
I enter 5 % when total amount is more then 750.
Do i Need to specify each product or should it also work when i select just one vendor category?

Thanks

Markus

Hi,

It depends on your products and the configuration you set-up for the discount.
Would it be possible to have more details about that ?
(But for the must I know about the system ; the amount restriction is for the coupons, not for the discounts)

Hi,

The best is to simply and directly ask your question about the option "Discount target vendors".
Not in the screenshot like you did but just here, in the forum, in the first line of this thread.

Discount target vendor
* No : The discount won't target products sold by vendors.

* Yes : The discount will target products sold by vendors and will be applied for the vendors.

* Not applied to vendors : The discount will target products sold by vendors but for the vendors, the discount won't be applied (so you're store will absorb the discount).

* Specific : Once selected, you will have a popup to select a vendor. At this moment the discount will target only the products sold by this specific vendor (and will be applied to the vendor).

Hi Jerome

Discounts does not work properly. As you can see in my attachements, the discount gets calculated for one vendor only. Allways just for the first one for which you buy a product.

Hi,

Your coupon "CHF 1000" is configured to target only the vendor "Diroso Kellerei - Turtmann", so it will be applied only on the products sold by the vendor "Diroso Kellerei - Turtmann".
Because the product "Pfyfoltru - Soleil de Varône" is sold by the vendor "Hans Bayard-Soleildevarone", the coupon is not applied on this product.

Please read my previous post, it explain exactly how it works.

* Specific : Once selected, you will have a popup to select a vendor. At this moment the discount will target only the products sold by this specific vendor (and will be applied to the vendor).

Hi
It s not working properly.
I have deleted the entries and did setup 2 different coupons again completely the same way. As you can see in the attachements, 1 copon is showing up and is calculated. when i delete one of them, the other copon is showing up and calculated.

Hi,

I am sorry but I don't understand what you did.
Delete what ? Showing up how ? What is the process ?
What is the coupon configuration ? What do you want to achieve ?

Please provide me more details because I really don't know what you are trying to explain.

Hi,

You have to create two discounts in your HikaShop backend interface.
On the first discount, click on "specific" and then, select the first vendor.
On the second discount, click on "specific" and then, select the second vendor.

Now, if you're talking about coupon and not discount ; I have to warn you that HikaShop does not support multiple coupon.

Hi Jerome

II f i define discounts, nothing is showing up.
I have defined a discount 5% for all purchases and a discount for 10% purchases for more then CHF 1'000 for a specific vendor.
None of them are calculated.

When a specify a coupon for 5% for all purchases, it is porperly calulated.
When i specify a coupon for 10% for the same vendor, only this is calculated.

So, what do i have to generate, a discount or copon do be used?

Regards

Hi,

The discount like I explained in my previous post is working good.
I make some test and I have right discounts (not coupon) for vendors.

I also tried a discount for all products (applied to vendor) and a discount for one single vendor ; working fine too.
You said

for more then CHF 1'000

which make me think that you are not creating discount.. But coupons.
Because it's not possible to set such kind of restriction for the discounts.

If you want to create a discount, you have to use a discount; for sure.
The coupon is : a coupon code.. Something that the user will enter during his checkout to have the specific discount.
So to apply a coupon, you have to enter the coupon code ; otherwise the coupon won't be use (and like I said, you can have just one coupon code for an order in HikaShop).

If you want more details about the coupons and the discounts, please read this HikaShop documentation.

Hi,

Because HikaShop have the same interface for discount and coupons, it could be confusing.
The main different is that, for the coupon the user have to make an action to apply the discount for his cart/order.

If you want to go further with coupons, I recommend you the component AwoCoupon ; which is specialized in coupons (discounts) and which have a nice integration with HikaShop/HikaMarket.
