1/ it requires a cron plugin.
We started to work on one, but we realized that a lot of people had a lot of different request (about the orders to select, etc).
So without good specifications about the requirements it's difficult to propose something which will be use by the most users possible.
2/ Did you made a "payment" or an "invoice" ?
If your store get the money, you need to pay back your vendors, so the order will be mark as "paid" (unless you select "paypal"). If your vendor get the money directly (depending your HikaMarket configuration), the order generated will be an HikaShop order and the status will be "created".
