Im sorry to have to ask this question but I dont want to configure things wrong. What is "your vendor" on Hikamarket? I do not understand the description on the directions .... is that supposed to be the owner of the shop? If so why doesnt it take the info that already exist in Hikashop.

can that be left empty?

Hi,

Your vendor - the settings for "your vendor", the entity which will allow you to manage your full store from the front-end like in the HikaShop backend.

With HikaMarket you can display your store as a vendor ; in that case you will need "your vendor".
It will have his vendor page, his name will be display in the product page like the other vendors, etc.

Regards,

PS : "latest" is not a valid version number and currently wrong with recent releases where automatic update is not activated.
If you think this information is irrelevant regarding your question, just let him empty instead of putting something which might be wrong or irrelevant too.

Thank you Jerome, I just got it yesterday, version 1.6.0, joomla 3.4 :)

Two more question
- the ACL settings on "Your vendor" only affect "Your vendor"?
- Are the products of vendors shown all over the store together with products that are own by the store and have no vendor?

PS: Why not call "your Vendor" Shop owner. or Store owner

Hi,

Yes, if you put some ACL on "your vendor" it will only affect "your vendor" ; it is not the "default access" that you configure in the HikaMarket configuration.
Thanks to that, you can manage your store from the front-end and have different accesses that the rest of your vendors.

And the name "your vendor" is really a vendor in the HikaMarket way ; you can have users for your vendor who will be able to access to the front-end edition and manage the store (depending the ACL they have).
I dislike the "owner" word because it is difficult to understand that it is a special entity with several users into.

And I'm sorry but I don't understand your second question.
