Hi!

Just testing the site, and after registering with the site, then registering to become a seller, then after logging in, I navigate to control panel, and get the error message: VENDOR_EXPIRED

Hi,

Right, the translation is missing.
The message is displayed when a vendor is not published. You have an option in order to publish automatically the vendor, otherwise it requires a manual validation by yourself in the HikaMarket backend.

While the vendor is unpublished, he is considered as expired so he can't access to the vendor features.

Well I have a vendor that gets the message "the vendor is expired". But this vendor IS published.

What can I do about it?

Hi,

Are you sure of that ?
Because the message "VENDOR_EXPIRED" is use only once in HikaMarket and the vendor must have an "id" superior than 1 and must be unpublished (vendor_published == 0).

So you have to check the vendor of the account and see if this vendor is really published.
Like that, by reading the code I didn't see any other possibility.

Hi Jerome,

I attached a screenshot of this vendor so you can have a look.
You need to know that I converted my old VMshop to hikashop. VM does not support Vendors so in Hikamarket I manually created the Vendors in the backend that I had in VM. Did I miss something at the creation of the vendors?

Are you sure that there is no two vendors with the same admin ?
Or the account is a user of another vendor ?

Hi,

With this vendor it appeared that he already was registered as user. So there where 2 users and the data of those 2 accounts where mixed up somehow. Username from one account. E-mail address from the other account and things got confused.
After removing one account and setting the right email address the problem was solved.
