Templates are not working

Hello -

When I create and apply a template to a vendor, and that vendor creates a product, the settings of the template (especially the Categories) do not apply to the new product. This is a huge problem for our site.

I can message you login credentials if you wish to diagnose it? Please let me know.

Hi,

Can you please provide more details about what's not working good with the product template and the categories ?

A Vendor can't see categories which are not under his root category. So they are hidden. But that's not because the categories are hidden for the vendor that HikaMarket does not store it in the database.
I maybe do not make all possibles tests cases but I test it and during my tests I didn't have troubles. So if you can provide some details about your configuration/organization, we could see the reproduce your problem in a local/demo website.

Thanks for the reply.

When a user signs up for an account, it automatically makes a vendor account for them.

That vendor has a category in the category tree as follows:

Root -> Product Category -> Vendor Category -> Vendor Name #1.

So I create a template and apply it to the Vendor, with these categories

Root -> Product Category
Root -> Product Category -> Vendor Category -> Vendor Name #1

When the vendor creates a product, nothing from the template stays with the vendor's product (the weight, quantity, category, nothing).

Please advise.

Hi,

I tried to reproduce your problem in my local website and I think I don't have the same configuration than yours.

Which version of HikaMarket are you using ?
We will need more details about your HikaMarket configuration and vendor ACL, in order to reproduce your problem in our side and fix it.
Otherwise, if you want, you can send me a backend access to your website so I will be able to check your configuration directly (and duplicate it in my local website for my tests).
