Vendor selection not working

-- url of the page with the problem -- : warestreetmarket.com/newsite
-- HikaShop version -- :2.3.1
-- Hikamarket -- 1.4.1
-- Joomla version -- : 3.2.3

Hi Jerome, I think this is a bug, apologies if not however i have a product which is showing the wrong vendor shipping on checkout. Let me explain.
1. This product is set as the vendor 'warestreet creatives' warestreetmarket.com/newsite/component/h...lock.html?Itemid=963
However on checkout the vendor that it is paying shipping to is showing as 'warestreet market' not 'warestreet creatives' please find attached. So it is giving £2.00 of shipping to the wrong vendor... I checked on the backend and the vendor for that product is selected as 'Warestreet Creatives' but then back in the checkout process the shipping is giving it to 'Warestreet Market'.... It is only on this product i think and not the other product in the cart...

Hi Alex,

Would it be possible to have more details about the current cart ?

Because I see the product "Kids Alarm Clock" for the right vendor with a dedicated shipping section.
When I add the product in my cart, I got the same shipping price than in the screenshot (£5). But I have only one product (Kids Alarm Clock)

So, I am not sure I see your problem.

The problem comes when we want to pay the vendor. The other two products (signs) are not being attributed to the right vendor when it comes to paying them their share of the sale, also it is sending them the wrong email because it thinks they are not their products. The customer kindly did screen shots and put into a word document to explain to me, which i have attached. The kids alarm clock seems to be correct and puts under warestreet creatives when the signs should be also showing as warestreet creatives shipping not 'warestreet market'.

I have also attached the order overview.
The only vendor showing in here is warestreet creatives. Not warestreet market. Even though when you click through the products are correct in the order but the shipping from the signs is not showing as warestreet creatives, it just leaves it off.

Hi Alex,

The "Word" format is forbidden in this forum, you can't attach files in this format.

Thanks to your last screenshot, I think I see the problem you are talking about.
The vendor attribution made by the custom field works once the order is created but the shipping selection is not affected by the "vendor selection" custom fields.

So the products are listed in a generic shipping section (of the main vendor) and are not with the other products sold by the vendor.
I will reproduce the problem in my local website in order to find a fix.

Thanks Jerome,

I have attached this as a PDF in case it helps. There is also an error message when making a manual payment after submitting we get the message 'the customer does not have a joomla user account so his group cannot be changed.' The invoice is still being created ok but it is confusing to the client why it is coming up with this message and doesn't allow you to progress you then have to click back through 'components > hikamarket > vendors > etc' to see the invoice.

Am i right in thinking that maybe they need to select a specific group when adding a vendor in the backend? If so what should the joomla group be that is suitable for this error not to show?

Hi,

The notice message comes form the plugin "hikashop group".
I will submit a fix for the next HikaShop release, but it should not affect the way that the vendor payment works. It just display a Joomla notice message on the page.

Hi Jerome,

Do you think you will have a patch for this by Monday? The client is pushing for me to put the site live then and i think this is the only bug at the moment that needs to be fixed in the system. (apart from the Joomla group error message on vendor payment) but that doesnt affect calculations of the order like this one.

I made a patch but it affect several files and add class functions.
So it will be difficult to paste the patch here in the forum.
But my latest tests, it is working good.
