Vendor ACL not correct after registration

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.4
-- HikaMarket version -- : 1.7.2
-- Joomla version -- : 3.6.5
-- PHP version -- : 7.0.13
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Safari (10.0.2)

Hi,

We are facing an issue where newly registered Vendors does not get the correct (any) group assigned.
What happens is the following:
1. Vendor registers
2. Joomla user is correctly created and placed in the User Group: Sølv (Silver)
3. HikaMarket vendor user is correctly created but is not assigned any User Group.

If an administrator manually edits the Joomla user of the vendor, then suddenly the User Groups are synchronised.

Hi,

Thanks for the report.

When you're using the HikaMarket registration page, the Joomla account is created before the vendor one.
But, the synchronization is made when a user is created or modified ; so the moment when the user is created, before you're in the registration process, the vendor account is not created (and do not exist, yet) so the synchronization cannot be done.
That's also why, when you edit the user afterwards, the sync is made and the vendor account receive the right user groups.

I will add a patch in HikaMarket registration process in order to read the Joomla account groups during the vendor account registration.

Thanks for the response, will you ping this thread when the patch is released?

I know it is hard/impossible to plan but is it possible to give a date when this will be fixed?

Hi,

I already made a first patch for that ; but it requires several tests in order to be sure that it will work with every possible cases.
For example, the registration can create the Joomla account but it is possible that the user already have a Joomla account and just want to create his vendor account.

Hello,

HikaShop 3.0.1 is a cumulative patch release.
But, with my work on the bug fixes and patchs for HikaShop 3.0, I was able to release HikaMarket 1.7.3
