Hi,

Having problems with Stripe Connect (see my previous thread), I am in parallel testing other payment solutions for Hikamarket.

I have configured the plugin with our mangopay credentials : the client id and password I defined when I created our Mangopay account. (I was a bit surprised that the API key was not requested ??)

When I wanted then to add the Mangopay payment option, this message is displayed in the "client ID" area : Please configure credentials in the Joomla plugin manager side

When I tried to save the page, I get this error message :
Failed to get/create the legal user for your main vendor.
Please check that you right set your MangoPay credentials in the plugin (Joomla site)
Please also check that your account have a valid published address

So what kind of information should I put in the fields "client ID" and "password" ??

Many thanks for your help...

Hi,

I would recommend to contact directly MangoPay support to check with them that you're using the correct credentials for the clientid and the password and how to get they.
The API key seems to be something new as there is no need for an API key for the version of the API of MangoPay the plugin is using.

Thank you for your answer.

I will contact Mango pay support but could you tell me what kind of authenication you are using through this plugin ? (and maybe for which version of their api you did it ). That may help in the support process...

Thanks a lot

Hi,

I didn't work on that and the person who did is actually in Holidays.
So I checked the code of the plugin and it looks like it's the v2 version since the API URL the plugin is contacting has v2 in it, but when I look on the online developer documentation, they also talk about the v2 version for the API key, so I'm not sure what is going on on their end.

Hello,
We had mango pay support on line, they confirmed to us that the credentials that must be used are the client id and the api key (and not the password as it is mentioned in the plugin parameters).
We checked with them that our credentials are correct, and tried again to set up your mango pay plugin with those, but that still does not work. We still have the error message in the mangopay payment option creation page : "Please configure credentials in the joomla plugin manager side"
Thanks for your help as soon as possible :-)

Hello,

Please configure credentials in the Joomla plugin manager side

It is not an error message ; it is an indication telling you that the "client id" information is not to be set-up in that part of the plugin but you have to provide this element via the Joomla plugin manager.

Failed to get/create the legal user for your main vendor.
Please check that you right set your MangoPay credentials in the plugin (Joomla site)
Please also check that your account have a valid published address

When you save the MangoPay configuration, the plugin try to get the main vendor from the platform or create if if not there.
If you got that error it means that the main vendor has not be created in the MangoPay platform.
It can be because of wrong credentials (please note that "sandbox" environment is also an important element)
It can be because of missing data from your HikaShop account since MangoPay need "Legal Representative" details and the plugin will get your account default address for that (first name, last name, street, city, country).

Hello Jerôme,
Thanks a lot for your help, the problem was coming from an empty adress field in our main vendor settings.
It works fine now !
Have a nice day

I have a question though : how does the vendor get his money ??
Should he connect by himself to mangopay dashboard to upload his documents (KYC, iban) ?
or is there a menu somewhere in hikashop where he can upload them ?
How and when is processed the pay-out to the vendor ?
Thanks a lot

Hello,

MangoPay comes with an HikaMarket plugin which add a new icons in the vendor dashboard (and interfaces).
In that section, the vendor can handle its details and ask for payment using the MangoPay API.

Hello,

The "HikaMarket - MangoPay integration" plugin is published and you also enable the ACL " plugins / mangopay " ?
Because if the ACL is not enable, the icon will not be added in the vendor dashboard.

Hello again,

After some testing it seems that we still have an issue with the mangopay icon in the vendor dashboard.
We did enable the ACL and for some reason the mangopay icon is displayed in our first testing vendor but not with our new one.

We went through the payment process the same way we did for our first vendor. We made sure that both account were identical : They're both configured in the same way as a vendor, and their respective user details in our MangoPay dashboard are also equally filled.
Also tried to disable and then re-enable the plugin in case there was a glitch somwhere by any chance, but didn't work out.

Is there is anything we're missing here ?

Hello,

Please enable the "plugins / mangopay" ACL in your default store accesses : HikaMarket > Configuration > Access Level
It looks like your main vendor have the ACL but not the other vendors.
