Vendor Menu Item & Vendor Contact Form

Hi,

We are still going through features available in HikaMarket, we just noticed an important issue today, if we enable the 'Contact Vendor' button so that buyers can contact vendors using the built-in contact form, instead of being sent to the vendor itself, the message is sent to the initial shop owner and not to the vendor! Is this configured to work like this or is this a bug?

Secondly, we want to create a menu item or even a page for each vendor, so that buyers can also browse or even see all products published by a specific vendor, you see, here in our country, many supermarkets and suppliers do not have a website to sell their products online, since it cost too much in terms of maintenance and technical support, so, what we are trying to do on our website is to give to these vendors the possibility to sell their products online (through our website) but also a link that they can give to their customers (like www.ourwebsite.com/supermarketname ) so that buyers can follow this link and see all products from this specific vendor. How can we do that please? Can anyone please advised?

Merci beaucoup pour cette réponse aussi rapide, as we mention initially in another topic, we are planning to launch our website within two weeks or so, is it possible to have an idea about when the vendor page feature shall be available? Even in a beta stage! As we would like to launch our website with this feature already available as it is currently one of the main feature and advantage of our website.

Even though if it only shows the name and the description currently, it would be nice to be able to show this coming feature to our customers so that they know at least that this feature will soon be available on our website, it's quite funny but here in our country, 90% of supermarkets and suppliers do not even have a website to advertise their products and with the idea to have some kind of mini website just for them will definitely increase our marketing strategy and of course our contribution (both financial and technical) to the development of Hikashop & Hikamarket and all future features as well.

Additionally, I just send an email to a local bank, namely, the State Bank of Mauritius, there are currently only two banks here in our country that provide an ecommerce solution and the State Bank is one of these two, if they are agreeable to the structure of our website and also about the multi-vendor feature, we are going to develop a plugin on our own to connect Hikashop to their ecommerce system so that vendors can receive their payments directly to their respective bank accounts locally instead of relying on overseas payment options, I will keep you updated about this depending on the response that we'll be receiving from this bank, hope they get back to us positively, and yes, thank you again for your very good work and awesome extensions, we'll definitely try our best to keep on contributing to the success of your extensions.

P.S. Just forget, no worry about the vendor contact form, we'll disable it for the meantime till this missing feature is implemented.
