Changing the View of the Payment Page

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.3.4
-- HikaMarket version -- : 1.4.4

Hi,

Please see attached image for the current state of my payment page.

I wish to make the following changes:

1. The shipping fee must be applied to the total price and not per vendor
2. Hide the portions in the red box.

Please advise on how this could be achieved.

Hi,

If you do not want shipping per vendor, you should remove the "shipping per vendor" option in HikaMarket.
But you can use the "split shipping fees" in order to split the shipping fees between the vendors in the order.

Hi Jerome,

Thanks for your reply. I have already disabled shipping per vendor in Hikamarket. I still get the setup as in the earlier screenshot.
Basically, the delivery charge should be a one time charge on the total amount at the time of checkout, regardless of the number of vendors to whom the products in the cart belong to.

Hi,

Unless you're using warehouses ; I really don't understand how you can still have the same shipping methods without the "shipping per vendor" (except you have some shipping cache issues ; at this moment you can re-save a shipping method in the backend in order to clean the cache).

Basically,

I want the setting such that the total shipping charge is based on the total sum due at the time of checkout, regardless of the number of vendors whose products are in the cart. I also want to hide the red part indicated in my post above

I am sorry but I don't understand your last messages.
One part is HikaShop related and one other might be HikaMarket related.
But unfortunately, I do not understand what you want to achieve and what is your current status.

The first screenshot was with the "shipping per vendor" activated ; so your message should be the opposite for my point of view.

So please provide some details about your current configuration, your current status and what you want to perform.
A link to your store could be useful too.
Because for the moment, I do not understand so I'm not able to help you correctly.

Sorry if I was not clear.
My current configuration is :





And the outcome i see on the checkout page is :





The end state I want to achieve is :
1. The part in the red box is not shown
2. The shipping fee is a one time fee added to the total due at the payment point, and there should not be a separate shipping fee for each vendor.

I hope this is clearer and please let me know if further clarification is needed.

Hi,

Okay, thanks.

So know the shipping method selection just propose you one "group".
The HikaMarket part is good ; the rest is HikaShop related.

If you want to hide the shipping method selection in the page ; you can use CSS or you can use view override.
By using CSS ; you can hide the entire zone so the customer won't be able to see it.
By using view override (for the HikaShop view "checkout | shipping") you can modify the output html in order to not display the table and to display an "input hidden" instead of the radio.
If you remove the "shipping" from your checkout workflow you won't have any shipping in the order ; in your case you want to keep the shipping but just not display it.

CSS is easier than view overrides ; so for the moment it will be the method I'll recommend you.

Could you clarify what you meant by:

However, I can't seem to find the class that I need to hide to get rid of the following messages:
You chose the shipping method: Delivery, Delivery
You chose the payment method: PayPal

Also, the cart still charges shipping for each vendor. Meaning, if there are 2 vendors, the cart charges $30. I want it to charge only $15 regardless of the number of vendors whose products are in the cart

Now I just need to fix the issue of having the delivery charged separately for each vendor. I have already tried deactivating "shipping per vendor".

Hi,

Is display thanks to the checkout step "status" (not related to HikaMarket).

If you have right remove the setting "shipping per vendor" ; you might have some shipping cache issues.
Please clean your cart/session because the HikaMarket setting have big influences on HikaShop and does not support the "hot modification" ; you need to clean the caches/sessions otherwise you will have trouble with logged users.

Please let the setting "shipping per vendor" deactivated and do not change it anymore.

I have tried clearing my cache both for my browser and Joomla and still experience the problem where the delivery fee is charged for each vendor.

Hi,

I take a look at your website.

Unless you're using warehouses ; I really don't understand how you can still have

And I saw that you're using warehouses in HikaShop ; you got one warehouse called "Deuter" and some products are assigned to that warehouse.

So the display you got is logically regarding your configuration.
It does not come from HikaMarket anymore ; you do not have "sold by ...." shipping groups anymore ; you just have two warehouses (the warehouse "Deuter" and the "no warehouse").
