When a vendor creates options for a product it is display along with their products in the store ( see my private link)

My vendors want visible only Products and not options on their Store Page, ( Yes i understand that options are published as if it is a product. but when a product selected as options it should hide it on the storefront) .

Please help.
Looking forward.

Hi,

The best is to create an unpublished category and place that options into.
So the products will be available but won't be displayed because they will be in a hidden category.

Hi,

Okay.
You're using a product listing module for the display, right ?
If so, would it be possible to know the configuration of your product listing module ?
Like that I can't tell you if it's a HikaMarket related or HikaShop related ; it might be something to add in HikaShop in order to hide these products.

To tell you the truth is i forgot what module is for product listing module i set up long time ago. Andthat settings is always confused me. I am afraid to make something wrong. Since you now i have provided you full access, Please take a look in my menu named in admin Menu as HikaShop Default. I believe the correct menu item is 395.

If by any reason my security system does not let you get in or blocks you, please send me your IP.
Thank you

Hi,

You have some cache activated for your website.
So that's why even if you moved the products you still see the same result content.

I clean the cache and fix a little thing in the module configuration (that you can find thanks to the link in the HikaMarket configuration for the setting "module under the vendor page" and now the products which are in some hidden categories are not displayed.

I recommend you to deactivate the cache for the HikaShop/HikaMarket pages ; it will be easier to have a dynamic result and also to see directly your modifications in the website without having to clear your cache in the Joomla backend.

Awesome! IT works. THank you!!

Short follow up question:

I searched this forum and found recommended JotCache for selective cashing.

- Is it the best solution so far?
- In my case, as I understand, you recommend to include all Hika Market pages?

Thank you

Hi,

In general, e-commerce solutions are not compatible with cache ; the content is pretty dynamic, specially for the cart and the checkout.
So that's why when you are using some cache extension, we recommend to exclude HikaShop (and HikaMarket) pages from the cache to be sure that you always get the content from the database.
