hikamarket multi vendor same as ebay

HikaMarket is made to be flexible and to handle a lot of different cases.
The main feature is to let vendors (accounts in your website) create and sell products in your store ; and that, directly from the front-end.

Now, HikaMarket does not allow to manage brand from the front-end, it is in the TODO list but won't be implemented in a short delay. That feature will have issues, specially because the manufacturers are shared between all vendors so if a vendor can add/edit/delete manufacturers, it could affect products of other vendor (and products of the entire store).

I don't understand your point about "billings payment from manager" ; but for the using of the main product categories, you can configure HikaMarket to restrict the vendor categories ; it also mean that you can have no restriction and let your vendor select all categories in your store for their products.
