We want to offer 10 organizations products that are strictly for them and not available for viewing by the public.
Can I use the ACL to limit access to one "brand" call it organization one.
We never list all brands only individual brands.
We send the administrator a link to this "brand" listing.
Anyone with the link should get a login requirement.
When they create an account, we want them to be added to that group.
Then related items that are in their brand category can be viewed, along with products that are in modules that are from the main product category.
We do multi level pricing for different organizations based on quoted rates that may not be the same for all.
I really don't want to have the overhead of the multi cart. I think it is not for me.

What do you think?

Hi,

HikaMarket is a multi-vendor add-on for HikaShop.
It allows external users to sell their products in your store ; without an access to your backend and with a lot of control on the what they can edit or not.

In your messages, most question I can see are related to HikaShop and not HikaMarket.
So I recommend you to create a new thread in the HikaShop forum question for your interrogations about HikaShop (ACL on price, brands, ACL on products, multi-cart...)

That is what I thought... I Don't need the HikaMarket.. how do I refund it? Will unistalling it effect anything? I have it on a test server and once this project is accepted I will use CSV export import to move it and not need the multi vendor info to move with the data..

Thanks.. When I started to configure for the school and the customer options I found this not to be at all useful to our needs but I tried :)

I love the tech support and the transparency of the limitations and workarounds we are overcoming.
When I am done with this cart I am going to write an excellent review of HikaShop and Jerome our French connection :)_

Hi,

For refunds, we have a 30 days money back policy so there is no problem.
The best is to use the "contact us" form and provide few details about the order number and your account.
www.hikashop.com/support/contact-us.html

For sure, you will have to uninstall HikaMarket from your website.
Because the component is an add-on, it will just deactivate his marketplace features but your store will continue to work.
HikaMarket do not modify HikaShop files ; it is fully integrated using triggers and the few columns it adds in the HikaShop tables won't generate any side effect with export/imports.

HikaMarket is a specialized component and we know that it is not required for every websites but just for specific cases.
We prefer to stay honest and be aware of our limitations in order to improve our products in the right direction ; like for example Nicolas who made a new implementation for the variant listing in the product page. Even if HikaShop have some limitations we designed it to be highly flexible and scalable.
