Hello,

I have multiple vendors offering the same product, what I need to do is as follows:-

1- Shopper browse front-end and purchase a product.
He will not know who is/are the vendor(s) of this product, I was able to hide this on front-end.
The Shopper will be notified by email that and order was received.

2- An Admin will be notified of an order creation by email.
That's fine!

3- Admin login to control panel and see the order, and based on some offline method, he will assign this entire order to a specific Vendor.
I was able to enable the vendor selector, and and Admin can surely edit that from back-end.

3- The selected Vendor, selected by the Admin not the Shopper, should be notified by email, including the Shopper contacts.
I am stuck in that! I tried the following without any success:-
i. HikaMarket >> Configuration >> Main >> Email option >> "Order notification status filter" is set to created and confirmed - and Order "Market: Order status notification" is Published set to "Sent in HTML".
ii. Vendors are set and published and all have Order notification status filter set to everything!

4- The Shopper should be notified by email that order is confirmed, including Vendor contacts.
I cannot do this also, browsed the entire forum and docs without any success.

Your prompt help will be very much appreciated,
Best regards.

Hi,

In HikaMarket, the vendor assignation is made at precise moments :
1 - When the customer order is created
2 - When an order product is added or edited in the interface and the setting "vendor" is affected.

The order/item custom field "vendor selection" is only use when the order is created ; not afterwards.
And it is the same thing for the "vendor zone" feature.
When in your step 3, you edit the field, it does not perform the vendor assignation and do not create the vendor sub order.

With the system of "order" and "sub order", there is no feature to assign an "order" to a vendor ; because an "order" can't be assign to a vendor, only a "sub order" can.
So it would require that you'll edit every order products and set them the vendor you want ; the first time it will create the sub order for the vendor and each time a product will be edited, it will be added to that sub order.

Now, it could be possible to create a custom plugin to perform such kind of task but I prefer to warn you that the required algorithm could be a little bit tricky.
