Hello,

I've created an Order custom field, and wondering how can I make it appear as a column in front-end for main Vendor.

a. I mean that I want the main Vendor can see in the order listing the value of this custom field, same as he sees the customer email, billing and shipping and order status.

b. I also want to make the customer "username" and "firstname lastname" appear next to his email address in the order listing in the Vendor front-end view.

Your prompt help is very appreciated,
Kind regards.

Hi,

1. When you edit your custom field in the HikaShop backend, there is a section "display" where you will find settings for HikaMarket display.
Please check these settings and if you have issues to understand them, please provide a screenshot of your current field configuration.

2. It will require to create a view override for the HikaMarket vendormarket / listing.

Hi Jerome,
Thanks for your comprehensive reply.

Tackling my first point, kindly find the screenshot attached as requested.
However, I believe it is nothing to do at the Display settings, since I'm talking about the fields values visibility in the vendor front-end order listings, not the order view.

Hope you got what I am trying to do,
Your prompt help is very appreciated,
Kind regards.

Hi,

You're right ; I totally forgot that there were no "vendor order listing" available.
So I have implemented that missing part into HikaMarket ; which will available in the next release.
Regarding the fact that the patch is composed of several modifications in different files ; it will be complicated for me to give you all instructions in the forum ; it might not be easy to follow (specially for some small patchs).

Hi Jerome,

Happy to hear of the quick implementation!
May I ask when the next release can be available, approximately?

1. In the mean time, is there any chance you can provide this patches to directly apply them?
2. Speaking of front-end vendor order listing, is there a way I can make customer data appear with their email address (i.e. Name and Username fields)?

Any prompt help or hint is truly appreciated,
Kindest regards.

Hi,

1 - Like I wrote in my previous message :

Regarding the fact that the patch is composed of several modifications in different files ; it will be complicated for me to give you all instructions in the forum ; it might not be easy to follow (specially for some small patchs).

The modification is composed of a lot of small modifications and that's not easy to provide instructions for them.

2 - The order listing have data from the hikashop user table but it does not link with the Joomla user table.
So if you want to display elements from the Joomla user table in the listing, it will require a view override ; the usage of a custom plugin to use the trigger "onBeforeOrderListing" and affect the SQL query could be a good way of implementation.
