when i select a coupon hika decreases the value of the order but it seems that paypal doesn't consider it and asks me to pay the entire value of the product.

I use the standard "HikaShop Paypal payment plugin".

did i do something wrong or is a bug of hika?

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

You have to deactivate the option "Send details of the order" in the paypal plugin.
With this option, the plugin send the content of the order (the products) but sometimes it does not send all discounts.
Which type of discount do you use ?

Thank you Jerome.

I created a coupon of 18 euro.
I used the standard functionality of hika.

Tonight i will try to disable the option you indicated and then i will let you know.
Just to know, do you consider it as a bug and you are working to solve it?

In my case everytime i use the coupon paypal doesn't see the coupon value.
If you need an username to test it, please let me know.

***update***
I did other tests, i receive the error only if the price without Vat is greater than the coupon value.
I hope this could help you.

Hi,

The problem is that the PayPal API does not accept discounts greater than the price without VAT.
There is nothing we can do to change that.

The solution is indeed to keep the option "send order details" turned off as it is by default so that HikaShop only sends the total of the order and not all the details. That way it always works.
