Cannot remove custom label from product

Hello,
You put me onto using custom labels in our parted out kits for included items, and it has been working well until now. It appears that when you add a custom label to a product and everything has been saved, that you cannot remove it. I made a mistake and added it to something which I later changed my mind it won't leave the product, even though it is no longer assigned to the product in the label management.

You can delete the description from the product side and it will disappear on the front end, but the label stays there on the back end. In fact you can pretty much write anything you want in the label display on the back end product page and it will appear on the front end.

The only way that I could make it not appear in the back end product page was to unassigned all products from that custom label and delete the label, so there is a work around, but thought you should know.
